We created hims and hers to streamline access to healthcare, starting with conditions that men and women commonly face including hair loss, sexual wellness, and skin care. It shouldn’t be so uncomfortable, such a hassle, or so expensive for people to take care of themselves. With a telemedicine approach, we enable guys and girls to get diagnosed and treated at a much lower cost and a much greater convenience. We use a network of physicians to recommend and provide the best clinically-backed and effective treatments.
As product marketing manager, you will use your creative and technical capabilities to define product positioning for prescription, OTC and cosmetic products within the hims and hers brands, creating a cohesively marketed product portfolio that is as appealing to our consumers as it can be. You will be responsible for exploring trends and innovations and evaluating viability for launch within our portfolio as well as suggesting new market opportunities that align with our company objectives and creating briefs for those opportunities.
-Guide and refine product positioning for new and old products, ensuring competitive positioning and top-notch customer experience through reformulations, claims testing, repackaging and extensions.
-Define and lead strategy to maximize sales by identifying key market opportunities to push portfolio success, including identifying consumer trends, claims, finding new target audiences and leading positioning to reach those audiences; use market research (surveys, consumer testing, focus groups) to validate positioning and gain insight into our consumers
-Ensure that all consumer-facing teams are aligned on product positioning and messaging, and that all messaging (website, advertisements, PR, social) is cohesive, on-brand and compliant
-Closely monitor the competitive landscape, identifying and sharing trends and innovations in emerging and current competitors
-Redefine and facilitate cross-departmental interaction w/r/t product positioning and product marketing
-Build data, trend & competition-driven business cases for new product concepts
-Explore, test and prove your ideas before roll out, remaining flexible when obstacles appear
-Optimize information flow and educational messaging on PDPs, social and packaging
-5+ years experience in product marketing, brand marketing or product development (preferably in a DTC or CPG brand in wellness, beauty, fashion, or food)
-Experience in consumer testing and surveys
-Excel in: communication, multitasking, ideating, leadership
-Proven track record of creative and technical capabilities
